MCP introduction - Alignr

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets a compatible client discover and call Alignr tools. Use it to retrieve client context, inspect detections and explain control results.

Your deployment must have the MCP server enabled. The trailing slash addresses the mounted transport directly.

What you can do

Retrieve an Organization or list its detections.
Inspect a client’s compliance grid and explain a control’s status.
Review a standard across Organizations.
Ask questions over authorised evidence.
Add a detection note when explicitly granted the write scope.

Connect your client or inspect the tool catalogue.

Alignr’s application MCP server is separate from Mintlify’s documentation MCP server. Use the Alignr endpoint for client data and assessment tools.
