Connect an identity evidence source
Open Integrations and choose an identity evidence source that supplies role membership and MFA registration. A client-directory import alone cannot supply these observations. Follow the connector’s authorisation process, use the requested permissions and confirm connection health.Checkpoint: Alignr can access the intended source. This establishes access; collection and assessment still need to happen.If you are stuck: Check integration access and collection. Do not continue on the assumption that a successful credential save means evidence has arrived.

Map the source to Acme
Open Clients → Import clients and select the source. Refresh client records when available, then inspect Acme’s source tenant or company identifier. Choose the correct existing client and select Link, or use Create for a genuinely new client. You can also review assignments in the integration’s Clients & sites tab.Checkpoint: you can identify the source record and the Alignr client it belongs to.If you are stuck: Review Organization mapping. Similar names are a reason to check identifiers, not a basis for automatic matching.

Inspect collected observations
A client-directory import does not collect assessment facts. Use an evidence source that supplies role membership and MFA registration. Where available, use Sync now and review Sync history. After collection completes, inspect a selected account’s Directory role (
has_role) and MFA registered (mfa_registered) observations. Confirm that both describe the same account under Acme. Check their source and observation time.Checkpoint: the role observation identifies the intended administrator, and you can see whether the MFA observation is present.If you are stuck: Trace missing evidence. A missing registration observation is a useful finding about coverage; do not replace it with an assumed false or true value.Read one observation
